Client was a large wholesaler who required a cross-functional and domain expertise team to acquire and issue knowledge to migrate the PLCC card portfolio from legacy issuance to a modern platform in a phased approach.
Background of the Business Problem
- Post migration the new system was planned to be enabled as go-forward issuer system with all latest issuer services. These issuer systems will be completely validated & bring it to live by integrating with the new acquiring system that happens in parallel as part of modernization to their acquiring system.
Our Approach & Solution
- Performed a due diligence with architects in performing a Strategic planning to define the scope and phases to deliver the migration & integration work.
- Coordinated with cross functional and application teams to plan on migration & validation process from old to new issuer platform.
- Designed and developed a robust ETL process in migrating the data from old to new system.
- Involved in designing issuer services with client architects to meet all issuer needs.
- Coordinated with acquirer systems to validate the Issuer service performance.
- Testing services were expanded to cover Functional, SIT, Security and Performance testing.
Business Outcomes
- A seamless extraction, transformation, and load process was developed for card portfolio migration.
- Process was designed in collaboration with architect(s) to address all issuer services needs, developed, and subjected to end-to-end testing.
- The solution encompassed comprehensive IT services, including Development, Hosting/Infrastructure, and Production Support.
- Initiative has strengthened the Acquirer's relationship with the client and opened opportunities for future business in both acquiring and processing sectors.
